Each session includes half an hour of structured movement, music and drama activities and then 30 minutes of Montessori inspired free play with tea/ coffee and biscuits/

Themes in the Autumn Term include the seasons, hibernation, Halloween and Christmas.
Themes in the Spring Term include include Dinosaurs and Spring.
Themes in the Summer Term include animals on the farm and on Safari.

Example Lesson Content

Listen to the story Wake Up Big Brown Bear!
Put teddies to sleep just like Big Brown Bear hibernating.
Students collect autumn leaves for Bear while listening to autumn themed classical music. We even roll in the leaves just like the characters in the story!
Students jump in puddles and hide under the parachute when it rains. Students respond to a rain maker and bright musical instruments played by the teacher.
Students sing “I hear thunder”.
Students try to wake Big Brown Bear up, just like the animals in the story did by shouting “Wake up Big Brown Bear!” and using their own musical instruments to bang.
Students pretended to be Big Brown Bear waking up and stretched their bodies.
