Group Musical Theatre

Group Musical Theatre lessons are the perfect introduction to singing, acting and dancing lessons as we work towards mini performances of your favourite musicals such as Annie, Oliver and Matilda the Musical! Group examinations are a great way to receive recognition for your work whilst having fun performing with your friends! These classes are ideal to help younger students to develop their confidence!

Students work towards termly performances and students in these classes are also invited to perform in our annual full scale productions!

Grade 1 Musical Theatre- Annie (Suitable for beginners)
When: Wednesdays 5-6pm
Where: Trinity Methodist Church, Penarth

Level 1: Grade 3 Musical Theatre- SpongeBob SquarePants (Suitable for beginners)
When: Thursdays 4:15-5:15pm
Where: Old School Rooms, Sully

Level 1: Grade 3 Musical Theatre- Oliver (Suitable for beginners)
When: Fridays 4:15- 5:15

Level 1: Grade 3 Musical Theatre- High School Musical (Suitable for beginners)
Location: Llandaff Memorial Hall
Time: Saturdays 1-3pm
Recommended age: From 6 years+

Level 2: Grade 4 Musical Theatre- Shrek
When: Thursdays 4:15-5:15pm

Mini Stars

Our Mini Stars class is the perfect introduction to Musical Theatre! Each lesson includes movement, drama, music and singing. This class helps students to develop the skills they will need to be successful at school such as confidence, memory and presentation skills. Students also develop rhythm, coordination and emotional awareness.

Our Mini Stars also take part in our annual junior production! Older students are also able to complete Group Introductory LAMDA Exams in this class.

Main Stars

Our Main Stars class will be working towards our junior production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat! Each week includes acting, singing and dance lessons and rehearsals leading to a performance back to parents.

If you are interested in joining this class then we recommend booking a place on our Joseph audition workshop on Saturday September 13th. All students will take part in an informal singing and dance workshop. If you wish to be considered for a principle role please visit our Productions page for more information on what to prepare. You will only be asked to sing on your own if you are auditioning for a named part.
